Community Rules

1. The Short Version

Be a human, not a problem. You paid rent to chat with other people. Do not make them regret being here. If you do, we will terminate your lease and you will not get a refund.

2. What Is Not Allowed

• Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of other users
• Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or any other characteristic
• Spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
• Sharing personal or private information of others (doxxing)
• Illegal content or activity
• Impersonating other users or staff
• Attempting to exploit, hack, or disrupt the service
• NSFW or explicit content

3. What Is Allowed

Conversation, debate, banter, humor, strong opinions. This is a chat room, not a library. Disagreement is fine. Being an adult about it is required.

4. Moderation

paywall.chat moderates at its sole discretion. We do not have an appeals board or a committee. If we determine your behavior is harmful to other users or the service, your lease is terminated immediately. Moderation decisions are final. See our Terms of Service for the full legal language.

5. Consequences

• Warning (at our discretion — we may skip this)
• Lease termination (immediate, no refund)
• Account ban (permanent)

Paying $1,000,000 for The Owner does not buy you immunity. The rules apply to every room and every tier.
