Terms of Service

1. The Service

paywall.chat sells time-limited access to chat rooms ("leases"). Each lease grants you access to a specific chat room for a fixed duration. When the lease expires, your access is revoked ("eviction"). This is a perishable digital good.

2. No Refunds

All sales are final. There are no refunds, no credits, no exceptions. Your lease duration begins at the time of purchase. Whether you use 5 minutes or the full duration, the price is the same. By completing a purchase you acknowledge and accept this policy.

3. Lease Terms

Lease durations range from 24 hours to lifetime. The exact duration and price are displayed before purchase. When your lease expires, you are automatically evicted. Evictions are public and displayed on the homepage. There is no grace period.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment information. All prices are in USD.

5. Conduct

We reserve the right to terminate any lease and revoke access for abusive behavior, spam, or any activity we deem harmful to the service or other users. Terminated leases are not eligible for refunds.

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension without refund:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualization of minors
• Threats of violence, including death threats and bomb threats
• Solicitation or sale of illegal goods or services
• Doxxing or publishing others' private information
• Coordinated harassment or targeted abuse
• Impersonation of other users or staff
• Spam, flooding, or automated messaging

Chat rooms are not private. Messages may be monitored, filtered, and stored. Automated content filters are in place and may block or redact messages without notice.

6. Monitoring & Cooperation

We reserve the right to monitor all chat activity and cooperate with law enforcement agencies when required by law or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public. Chat content may be retained as required by applicable law. We do not guarantee deletion of messages upon user request.

7. Availability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that the service will be error-free. Downtime does not extend your lease or entitle you to a refund.

8. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute after completing a purchase is a violation of these terms. Accounts associated with chargebacks will be permanently banned from the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Active leases are governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
